The following is a small selection of images from the many installations we have done over the years.
Each stove is different so a different set of tools will be needed depending on the stove but most commonly you will need either a flat head or cross head screwdriver, an Allen key or a suitable sized spanner, You might find that the bolts that hold the clips in place may be quite tight so a good soaking in WD/40 is advised.
Loosen of bolts/screws and remove clips holding the glass, carefully remove broken glass (Robax ceramic glass is currently not recycled in the U.K so dispose of glass in your general waste) remove the old seal and clean the recess where the seal was.
The self-adhesive seal provided with the glass must be stuck to the face of the glass that will be sat in the door
Place glass seal side down in the door and gently tighten up the clips making sure no to over tighten (the glass should have some movement in the door) as this could cause the glass to break when the stove gets hot. Now sit back and enjoy.
If you have any questions regarding anything stove related don't hesitate to get in touch either by email or phone and we will try our very best to help.
